• Help your dog to learn the focus and self-control necessary for success, especially with Come when called and enviable leash manners.

1. Introduction to training and teaching; my philosophy of training; setting criteria and measuring progress; how dogs learn and how they don't.
2. The Static Exercises: Sit and Down, and Leadership exercise #1: Stand for grooming and veterinary care.
3. Leadership exercise #2: Yielding space; teaching loose leash walking without conflict.
4. Coming when called.
5. Leadership exercise #3: Leave it, and essential ‘hold still’ commands wait and stay.
